First IRON FORGE Bootcamp: a 3-day intensive and pitch day for defense startups
IRON, together with Airlogix, Skyeton, General Cherry, and Foundation Defense, organized its first-ever bootcamp for defense startups. Out of 45 applications, 19 teams were selected to take part in a three-day program and pitch their solutions to investors, competing for a $10,000 prize fund.
1st place — Coalas Tech
2nd place — Hootronics
3rd place — Synychka

IRON and Snake Island Institute presented an analytical report on component localization. Based on numerous interviews with key industry stakeholders, the report outlines the main barriers and proposes the most effective pathways to localizing production.

Representatives of over 50 IRON member companies gathered for a closed workshop with the Defense Procurement Agency and the Ministry of Defense Reform Support Office. Participants engaged directly with public procurement experts, explored key procurement instruments, examined the demand formation process, and reviewed decentralized procurement practices used by military units.

Sky Solutions 2.0 became one of the cluster’s first large-scale demo events, bringing together manufacturers, military units, and charitable foundations, and laying the groundwork for long-term partnerships and value chain development.

Speakers included founders of The Fourth Law, Sine Engineering, FarsightVision, NORDA Dynamics, as well as representatives of the Boryviter Military School, Brave1, the 412th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment NEMESIS, and the 3rd Assault Brigade.
